ESO Headquarter Munich

Project Description

Office- and conferencebuilding of the ESO Headquarter in Munich-Garching. Three circular, three-story building complexes A, B, and C realized as a reinforced-concrete construction, floor-slabs and roof interconnected in each case.

Perimeter areas of the circular slabs cantilevering for approx. 4.60 m.

Column-free areas between the buildings A and B as well as B and C.

Prestressed π-plates as semi-precast concrete elements for the roof of conference building B. Enhancement of the reinforced concrete roof-slabs above the column-free area by means of prestressed reinforced concrete ribs at the bottom side.
