Walter-Klingenbeck Intermediate High School, Taufkirchen

Project Description

The intermediate school has an innovative room concept where all grades can be taught together in so-called "Learning Landscapes" with variable room layout and utilization; elite school for football.
The school building has a rectangular ground plan with side lengths of about 40 x 90 m. It has 3 storeys and a ring-shaped cellar. In between of two courtyards there is a break hall which can be used as an event location.
With the exception of the break hall in composite steel construction, the building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton construction.
