Dahlmannschule Frankfurt with Gymnasium and Indoor Pool

Project Description

The new construction of the elementary school ‘Dahlmannschule’ in Frankfurt am Main will be realized after the dismantling of the old building.

The building measure is consisting of two four-story buildings without basement as well as a gymnasium with a playing field on the roof and two basement levels including an indoor training pool for swimming lessons.

The structural system is realized by a reinforced concrete skeleton construction, consisting of flat slabs, columns, cores, and diaphragm walls. For the long-span construction of the gym and the swimming hall, reinforced concrete slabs with T-beams will be used.
