Saalequerung Rudolstadt

The old town areas of Rudolstadt in Thuringia are to be connected to the recreational area in the south of the city.

The competition was therefore to develop innovative architectural / constructive concepts and ideas for the planned new crossing of the Saale and the railways.

Mayr | Ludescher | Partner, along with Lex-Kerfers landscape architects, achieved a 2nd place.

The jury was convinced by the concept and design of the semi-integral bridge and its architectural elaboration.
